E-cig User Guide - an easy-to-follow guide to getting the best from your ENjuice-R E-cig

There are a few simple steps to using and getting the most out of your ENjuice-R E-cig.... just follow these simple instructions for hours (and days, weeks, months....) of happy vaping!

The Parts of your E-cig

'Your device is made of 3 parts:

  • The Battery – depending on the model this will have a screw-thread to attach the atomiser, and a red light (LED) at the end. This LED tells you when the battery is supplying power, is charging or needs to be charged.
  • The Atomiser – this is where the vapour is produced
  • The Cartridge – this holds the Eliquid and forms the mouthpiece.

Getting Started

First, before use charge the battery by connecting the charger to the power supply then screwing the battery into it – the indicator light on the charger will turn red and the LED on the battery will flash. The initial charge should be 3-4 hours. The charger light will turn green from red when the battery is charged, but it is recommended that for the initial charge you leave it for 3-4 hours. Unplug the charger from the power supply when not in use.

When the battery is charged, simply screw the atomiser onto the battery – ensure a good connection is made but do not over-tighten.

Next, top up your cartridge with ENjuice:

Take off the rubber cap and stand the cartridge on end with the white filler pointing up.
SLOWLY drip the liquid onto the cartridge filler. Let each drop soak in before adding another until no more will soak in – this will take a few minutes. The top of the filler should be wet, but without a pool of liquid sitting on it.
Next, attach the cartridge by pushing firmly onto the atomiser.

You’re now ready to go!

Using the device

If you have an auto device (no button) simply draw on it as you would a normal cigarette – but slowly and gently will get the best results, no more than 5-6 seconds. The LED will glow to show the device is working.

If you have a manual device, hold down the button for about 1 second and repeat the above – keep the button pressed for as long as you inhale, but again 5-6 seconds is ideal.

When the vapour production tails off, usually after 7-8 draws, simply top-up the cartridge with a couple of drops of liquid.

Maintenance

There are a couple of things you can do to ensure the effective operation of your device:

Change the cartridge after a day or so – it gets clogged and the vapour will not taste as it should. Either use a new one or you can pull out the filler with tweezers, rinse it under warm water, dry thoroughly with kitchen paper and re-insert.

Unscrew the battery from the atomiser one or two turns when not in use – this will help prolong battery life between charges.

Make sure the connections on the battery and atomiser are kept clean – wipe every couple of days with a spectacle cleaning wipe or a cotton bud dipped in alcohol (a white spirit like vodka will do the job) or acetone (nail varnish remover). This will remove the residue that builds up and can affect the connection.

Remember that atomisers and batteries are consumable parts that will need to be replaced periodically. An atomiser will normally last around 14 - 28 days. After that time the performance will drop off, or it may stop working altogether. A battery will normally last 2 - 3 months before you notice a shortening of the time needed between charges.

Troubleshooting

If you follow the simple steps above you shouldn’t have any problems, but if you do try these steps before contacting us:

No vapour:
Battery needs charged – LED flashes several times rapidly, or does not light up when you draw or press the manual button – change the battery.
Battery lights up but still no vapour – the atomiser is burnt out or flooded. A flooded atomiser can happen if you put too much liquid in the cartridge – remove from the device, roll up some kitchen paper and insert carefully into the open end of the atomiser - blow through the atomiser from the threaded end (wipe it first to avoid getting Eliquid on your lips). Put it back on and try again.
If the atomiser is burnt out, replace it. You can try cleaning an atomiser that has stopped working by placing it in a small bowl and pouring boiling water over it. Leave for 15 minutes, remove, blow through to remove water from inside and stand on kitchen paper overnight to dry. Drip about five drops of Eliquid directly onto the small arch of metal mesh you can see when you look inside the atomiser – this is called “priming”. Then use as normal – this can sometimes help when your atomiser stops working well, but doesn’t always work!

There are lots of forums and sites where you will be able to find tutorial videos and lots of friendly people to share advice, tips and opininions – but remember not everything you read on a forum is necessarily true, so always double check on any advice being offered.
